CAAC Blue Champions! Comet Wrestling finishes the League season undefeated to claim title
The Grand Ledge Varsity Wrestling team defeated East Lansing 61-15 on Wednesday, January 31st to cap off a perfect 6-0 record in the CAAC Blue.
The victory clinched the outright league title for the Comets! Grand Ledge is now 25-4 overall on the season heading into the MHSAA tournament.
Congratulations to Coach Mark Buckland and the entire team on their championship.
Grand Ledge will now focus their attention to Saturday's CAAC League Individual Championship meet, set for February 3rd at Mason High School. The Comets will begin the MHSAA Team Tournament next week on February 7th at Holt Junior High at 5:30 p.m.
