Cheer Camp
Pre-K - 6th Grade (As of the 2024/2025 School Year)
The GL Varsity Cheer coach, Faith Kulang, her coaching staff and the HS cheerleaders will be conducting this great one day camp.
Participants will walk in the Yankee Doodle Day Parade with the GLHS cheerleaders on Saturday, June 22nd. (More Info will be announced on 6/19)
When: June 19, 2024
Time: 6:00 - 7:30 pm
Where: Sawdon Gym (entrance is off of Park St.)
Fee: $45 (includes t-shirt)

Boys Baseball Camp
Current 2nd – 8th Grade (As of the 2023/2024 School Year)
Join the Grand Ledge HS baseball head coach Grant Householder and players for a 4 day baseball camp. The camp is designed for players of all abilities from the beginning level to the experienced to help develop their fundamental skills and teach them the techniques needed to succeed on the diamond. Lunch will be from 12 – 12:30 pm each day. Participants will need to bring a sack lunch.
When: June 17 – 20, 2024 (Mon-Thur)
Time: 10:00am – 2:00pm
Where: Gorman Field (HS Baseball Field)
Fee: $85 (t-shirt included)

Girls Basketball Camp
Kindergarten – 8th Grade (as of 2024/2025 school year)
The camp will be led by GLHS girls basketball coaching staff and current players.
This camp is designed for players of all abilities- from the beginning level to the experienced player. instruction will be provided for girls looking to develop and refine their fundamental basketball skills. Focus will be on all player’s basketball skills, including shooting, passing, dribbling, rebounding, defense and scrimmage.
When: June 17 - 20, 2024 (Mon-Thur)
Times: Grades K-2 ~ 9:00am – 10:00am
Grades 3-5 ~ 10:30am – 12:30pm
Grades 6-8 ~ 1:00pm – 3:00pm
Where: Grand Ledge High School Main Gym

Girls Softball Camp
1st – 8th Grade (as of 2024/2025 school year)
Led by coach Dave Sage with assistance from other GL coaches as well as current and past players. The camp is designed for players of all abilities, from the beginning level to the experienced player. Instruction will be provided for girls looking to develop their fundamental softball skills. Focus will be on all player’s skills including; batting, fielding, throwing, catching, etc.
When: June 24 - 27, 2024 (Mon-Thur)
Time: 9:00am – 12:00pm
Where: Grand Ledge Softball Complex
Fee: $75 (t-shirt included)

Wrestling Camp
Kindergarten - 7th Grade (as of 2024/2025 school year)
The Youth Wrestling Camp is designed for campers of all skill levels. Emphasis is placed on fundamental wrestling techniques and the philosophy of wrestling in all three positions. Improving and having fun are main objectives of this camp. It will be run by Grand Ledge’s Varsity head coach Mark Buckland and his varsity coaching staff. Coach Buckland wants to introduce the Jr. Comets to the fundamentals of wrestling while having fun with their fellow Jr. Comet Teammates. Camp will include:
-Fundamentals of wrestling technique
-Wrestling specific games
-Team bonding and guest speakers
-Live drilling and wrestling (for the more experienced wrestlers)
When: July 15 - 17, 2024 (Mon-Wed)
Time: K-5th Grade @ 9:00 - 10:30am
Where: High School Wrestling Room

Middle School Volleyball Readiness Camp
7th & 8th Grade Girl’s (as of 2024/2025 school year)
The camp will be led by GL volleyball varsity head coach Matt Cox and his coaching staff with assistance from GL players.
This camp is designed to go over necessary skills to prepare for the middle school season.
When: July 15 - 17, 2024 (Mon-Wed)
Times: 1:00 - 4:00 pm
Where: Grand Ledge High School Main Gym

Soccer Camp (Coed)
3 years old – 8th Grade (as of 2024/2025 school year)
The Grand Ledge Soccer Club will host their 21st annual summer soccer camp.
Rain of Shine: In the event of severe weather, campers will take shelter inside the Holbrook Elementary Gym. If a camper leaves during severe weather, they must sign-out with their respective coaches.
Parents are welcome to observe from the sidelines at any time. Bring a bag chair or something to sit on.
When: July 22 - 25, 2024 (Mon-Thur)
Time: Grades 1st – 4th ~ 9:00 - 11:45 am
Grades 5th – 8th ~ 1:00 - 3:45 pm
Ages 3-6 ~ 4:00 - 5:00 pm
Where: Boughton Soccer Field

Football Camp
Kindergarten - 8th Grade (as of 2024/2025 school year)
The GL Varsity Football coach, Joe Brya, his coaching staff and high school players will be conducting this great camp. Participants will receive instruction in the fundamentals of offensive positions including proper blocking technique, proper ball security, passing and receiving. On defense, the focus will be on mastering a proper stance for each position, creating takeaways as well as safe and effective tackling form. Instruction will be appropriate to each age group.
When: July 8 - 10, 2024 (Mon-Wed)
Times: 9-10am (K-3rd) ~ 10-11:30am (4th-6th) ~ 12-2pm (7th & 8th)
Where: GLHS Turf Stadium

The camp will be led by GL Tennis varsity head coach Mark Vandlen and his coaching staff with assistance from GLHS players.
This camp is designed for all levels, beginners are welcome.
Please bring a tennis racket if you have one.

Cross Country Running Camp
3rd - 8th Grade (as of 2024/2025 school year)
Lace up your sneakers and join the GLHS Cross Country runners for this Youth Comet Running Camp! Dive into the world of running, enhance your skills and make lasting friendships in this dynamic camp designed for young runners. Camp is led by experienced high school runners, Comet cross country alumni and the HS coaching staff. Participants will enjoy the scenic park, expert coaching and a fun-filled atmosphere. The camp will focus on training fundamentals, warm-up and cool-down principals, nutrition, mental skills and play lots of games. Participants will be sorted into teams, each coached by current GLHS athletes. At the end of the week parents will be invited to watch these teams go head-t-head in a time trial. A nutritious snack will be provided each day to participants.

Summer Track & Field
The Summer Track Season Is Back In Grand Ledge
Open to all ages
Practices: 6:30 - 8:00 pm on Mondays (6/17, 6/24, 7/18, 7/15 & 7/22)
Meets: 6:30 pm on Wednesdays (6/19, 6/26, 7/10, 7/17 & 7/24)
Where: Grand Ledge Track & Field Facility - GLHS HS/MS Campus
Fee Option 1: $5 for walk-ins per practice / $10 for walk-ins per meet ~ $15 for Championship Meet
Fee Option 2: $80 (for entire season - 6 practices & 6 meets)
Registration Deadline (Fee Option 2): June 16, 2024 ~ Online registrations will be closed after this date
